Body and Form v.2

Compose a graphic Body map and make a Top garment that covers the bust and the arms.

Preparation and Tools

• Bring a box of pins and glue stick and a pair of fabric scissors.
• Watch the following sewing tutorial before you come to class. How to ACTUALLY start sewing in 2022 | Glory Allan

Deliverables:

• Pictures of the garment sewn and worn – Front, Back and Sides.
• Scheme of the pattern – explanation of the map/pattern, and the fabrics placement.
• Short written description of the choice of materials, shape, cut and graphic statement.

Grading Criteria:

• Wearability of the garment.
• Coherence of the graphic composition.
• Accuracy and innovation of the pattern.
