Algorithmic Design 2

Assignment

Drawing an orthographic view of your work.

Instructions

  1. Make a drawing of your 3D design. The drawing is recommended to be an axonometric view of the 40×40 cm tile. The drawing should be saved in a 20×20 cm 300 dpi format.
  2. Make a rendering front view to highlight the shading performance of the tile. Use a simple white material for the tile. The drawing should be saved in a 20×20 cm 300 dpi format
  3. Keep in mind:
    • Use different lineweights to highlight different parts of the work (e.g. thick perimeter, normal constructions lines, thin holes)
    • To generate the technical drawing of the work you have to rely on the same method used to generate the drawings for your 3d scanned shape in FoW101. Unlike that exercise though, the view, in this case, MUST BE AXONOMETRIC, please do some research on how to set your view to axonometric before generating the drawing using Make2D command.

Deliverables

Blog
-Rendering b/w of the final object;
-Drawing. The drawing MUST be an axonometric view of the module;
-Work in progress of the generation of the 3D model indicating the design strategy adopted.
